What do unblockers do?

Unblockers are like a gateway that sit between your computer and the site you want to go to. The unblocker visits the site instead of you, accesses the page, and sends it on to you. So the site you want to be on never sees your IP. So in effect you are visiting websites in an indirect way. Internet filters only see you visiting the unblocker, not the destination site.
